Yes! If you want to control and manage the data collected by Bugfender, we have an on-premises option that you can install anywhere you want.
The software is distributed in the form of an x86-64 Docker image, working on the following platforms (see the Docker documentation for details):
Most Linux distributions running version 3.10+ of the Linux kernel
Windows Server 2016
An SSL certificate is needed for protecting communications; a Let's Encrypt free certificate can be used.
Optionally, also a mailing service is needed for the for the password recovery functionality and daily application summary notifications:
An SMTP server (compatible with most mail providers, like Amazon SES, Sendgrid, Mailgun, Gmail, etc.)
An Amazon SNS account (if you want to use the two-factor authentication)
Hardware requirements for the server license*:
CPU: about 2 CPU cores and 4 GB of RAM per million devices
Disk: about 4TB of disk space for 100M log lines per day
Requirements for the cluster license*:
At least 2 worker nodes
CPU: about 2000 mCPUs and 4 GB of RAM per million devices
Disk: about 4TB of disk space for 100M log lines per day (or 8TB for high availability)
You can back up your data in an S3 bucket. You will need about twice the amount of provisioned disk space for 30-day rolling backups.
* The exact CPU and disk space needed depends on the number of devices connected to your instance and the amount and type of logs your application sends. The values provided are for guidance only.
Other paid services we offer together with the license:
Installation support and maintenance training for your system administration team.
Maintenance and monitoring provided by Bugfender on your own machines.
Please get in touch with us if you have any specific requirements and we will work with you on a solution.
